Rebecca is an associate attorney with The Siemon Law Firm, practicing in the areas of family law and criminal defense. Rebecca received her Juris Doctor and Masters degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2006, where she was a Lincoln Scholar (Law) and Michael Carroll Fellow (Urban Planning). Rebecca received her B.S. in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001. While attending the University of Illinois, Ms. Glatzer was a graduate teaching assistant and an associate editor of The Elder Law Journal, which published her student note Equality at the End: Amending State Surrogacy Statutes to Honor Same-Sex Couples’ End-of-Life Decisions, 13 Elder L.J. 255 (2005). As an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, Rebecca was selected to moderate the 2001 Atlanta mayoral debates and was chosen to report on the 2000 Democratic National Convention for The Technique, Georgia Tech's student newspaper. Prior to joining The Siemon Law Firm, P.C., she practiced family law with the firm of Kitchens New Cleghorn, LLC. She is a 2010 graduate of the United Way VIP Program and is a board member of the Stonewall Bar Association and the 2010 Secretary and Co-Chair of the Membership and Planning Committee. When not advocating for her clients, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
