John Terry
John is an associate attorney with The Siemon Law Firm practicing primarily in the area of family law. John works hard for the Firm's clients litigating and resolving divorce proceedings, contested child custody actions, and family violence actions.
An Ohio native, John graduated from The Ohio State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics. John graduated from Pace Law School in White Plains, New York with a certificate in Environmental Law. In law school, John was an active participant in Pace’s trial advocacy program. During law school, John interned with a leading New York law firm, Welby, Brady, and Greenblatt and represented clients through the John Jay Legal Services post-conviction project.
Upon graduating law school, John moved to Cumming with his now wife, Lauren, as a practicing attorney, John has focused his practice primarily on family law. In addition to practicing law, John volunteers as an attorney coach for local high schools participating in the annual Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition.
John is a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Georgia State and Superior Courts and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
John lives in Forsyth County with his wife, Lauren, who is also a local attorney.
